Our Story
October 12, 2012
Bethany & Tyler first met in the fall of 2012 while attending Iowa City West High School. They were setup by friends to go to homecoming together. Tyler wasn't 16 yet, so Bethany was the one that had to pick him up that night.
December 08, 2017
After going to homecoming together, Bethany & Tyler went their separate ways. However, they continued to pop up in each other's lives and eventually reconnected the fall of 2017 (check out the glow up). They officially started dating that December <3
Spring semester of 2018, Tyler was at school in Minnesota and Bethany was at Iowa State. Even with the distance, they managed to see each other as often as possible.
September 08, 2018
Fall of 2018, Tyler moved back to Iowa City, so the distance between the two wasn't quite as far.
May 11, 2019
That spring, Bethany graduated from Iowa State with a degree in Industrial Engineering. She moved back to Iowa City with Tyler to enter the real world.
But first, Bethany got to bring Tyler with her to Japan and the Philippines to visit family and celebrate her graduation.
July 26, 2019
Shortly after, Bethany & Tyler adopted their first baby and Miska joined the family!
December 21, 2019
That winter, Tyler graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Finance.
The two visited Sonoma, California to celebrate Tyler's graduation. They've been wine snobs ever since ;)
December 12, 2021
In December 2021, another member joined the pack. Thor grew the family to four!
December 25, 2021
They celebrated their first Christmas as a family of four!
Fast forward to July 2023 when Bethany & Tyler got engaged in Isla Mujeres, Mexico!
While planning their wedding, Bethany & Tyler have been working hard and enjoying traveling, attending sporting events, and spending time with friends and family. They can't wait to officially become Mr. & Mrs. Eads this May!
